The Wildlife Hospital of the Nature and Parks Protection Authority and Safari Gardens are looking for volunteers who love nature with an approach to animals.

We are in need of assistance in all areas:

  1. Driving injured animals from the periphery to the hospital.
  2. Registering animals and data input3. Maintenance of  stalls and cages.
  3. Daily treatment of the admitted animals: feeding, administering medication(including injections), including weekend and holiday shifts.
  4. Summer and Spring: help with raising orphaned chicks.
  5. Working together with the professional staff during treatment; from  animal restraint to assisting in surgery
  6. Participating in educational events;  exhibition stands

All volunteers are insured and will have training and guidance from the IWH staff.

Our condition: Commitment.  So that we can make a work plan and work placement.

Working hours: From dusk (around morning…) and late after sunset (according to need) we would be happy for some help during this time.

The Israeli Wildlife Hospital of the Nature and Parks Protection Authority and Safari Gardens operates in central Israel:

  1. Central hospital: admittance of small mammals and reptiles, treatment and long term rehabilitation in the Safari Ramat-Gan.
  2. Quarantine station for birds and ruminants in the National Park Afek (near Rosh Haayin)
