The new building includes:
Treatment room - Serves as a place for initial diagnosis, first aid and routine treatments. Preparation of an animal for surgery take place here.
Operating theatre- Is a separate sterile area where the animals are brought to after their preparation for surgery. The room was designed to enable a comfortable working environment for the team. The room is equipped with an operation table, anaesthesia and monitoring machines to follow the anaesthesia process.
This room will have a window through it students and pupils will be able to observe surgeries in real time without disturbing the proper surgical process.
Imaging room- Serves as an imaging unit where all the advanced imaging tools for diagnosis and medical follow up are and will be kept. The imaging will be done by innovative machines which will enable us to obtain prompt results and so administer adequate treatment.
Laboratory room- The laboratory equipment is an important utility tool in diagnosing the problem in the patient. Answers that are received in "real time" can save lives like in the case of poisonings.
Recovery room- Will enable the treated animal a calm recovery from the anaesthesia and operation processes while being closely monitored.
Administration area- Includes a medical library, conference room, resting and study places. These areas serve the in house staff, intern students and visitors of the hospital.
